Rashad Evans over Thiago Silva= Rashad is my favorite fighter. I can't pick against him.
Paul Daley over Dustin Hazelett=Most of the time I will take strikers or submission specialists.
Joe Lauzon over Sam Stout= J-Lau is good. Hope the time off didn't hurt him any.
Jim Miller over Duane Ludwig= I really like Miller. He has a lot of talent.
Junior Dos Santos over Gilbert Yvel= JDS is the future champ in my eyes. Another impressive win for him.
Martin Kampmann over Jacob Volkmann= I don't really belive Volkmann should be in the UFC. He'll hang with guys, but I don't think he'll beat any of them.
Cole Miller over Dan Lauzon= I really like Miller. He has a lot of talent.
Mark Munoz over Ryan Jensen=Jensen will be cut after this loss.
Mike Pyle over Jake Ellenberger=My heart tells me Jake, but my mind tells me Mike.
John Gunderson over Rafaello Oliveira=My mind tells me Gunderson, but my heart tells me Oliveira.
Soooo who does everyone else have?
don't care about 3-4 of the fights on here.....i don't know much about alot of them such as oliviera, ellenberger, d lauzon etc. i've seen them fight but not many times against relevant competition. won't be touchin them.
For my 4 man parlay, I got:
Dos Santos over Yvel
Kampmann over Volkmann
Lauzon over Sam Stout
Jim Miller over Duane Ludwig
I'm very confident in the above fighters, and predict profits in the range of 250-300 bucks. The Miller - Ludwig odds aren't up yet so I can't see what I'll be (possibly) making. I'll be putting 350 on these fights.
The main event is a tricky one, as is the Hazelett - Daley fight.
Rashad has shown himself to be VERY inconsistent, while T. Silva was a wrecking ball before he met Lyoto Machida.
Mclovin....oops I mean Hazelett - Daley fight is another oddball. Daley is a stud as a striker, but if he gets on the ground with Dustin he's tapping in 30 seconds. But can Hazelett even get him to the ground? We all saw how easily Koshcheck beat him, left head kick style. Wouldn't touch this one with a ten foot pole. Odds aren't good enough anyhow.
The equalizer here in these fights is Rashad Evans and his ability to wrestle. Rashad can take Silva down whenever he wants and avoid the submission. I expect him to do it, but wouldn't bet a hefty chunk on him. I think he's inconsistent and not even in the top 5. I do, however, think his style beats Thiago Silva.
I got Rashad for $50 bucks and winnings of $24.
i got rashad via ko 2nd round, btw this is the first time i have ever picked rashad to win.
hazelett over semtex, maybe some close calls on the feet for a few minutes but semtex will get subbed in the first via armbar or triangle.
I have Yvel over Jds, really a coin toss for me but i think yvel will use his kicks to keep JDS at bay en route to his first decision win.
joe lauzon over sam stout via rnc in the 2nd.
i got jim miller over bang ludwig, unless ludwig can stop him in the opening seconds like he did goulet i think he is gonna be tied into a pretzel by jim miller.
kampmann as long as he doesnt get cocky on the feet.
cole miller via triangle over dan lauzon. Cole miller is looking to come back strong from his last loss to escuedero so look for him to come out with guns blazing.
only ones i care about everyone else is a coin toss to me.
Rashad, I do see winning, I think his boxing and speed mixed in with his superior wrestling will prove to be superior to Thiago's vicious muay thai. I see Rashad using great foot work and setting up peppering straights to go for the take down. There I see it playing out similar to the forrest fight, hard strikes while rashad is standing up in Thiago's guard.
But if Rashad tries to stand for a long time, I see him getting worked in the clinch and eventually getting Tko'd from way too many punches and knees.
Yvel at his best would be be a lot for JDS. I doubt we will see a prime Yvel, so I think JDS takes this one in a first round KO. I like JDS because his striking seems to flow, something you don't see a lot of in HW'S. He has good head movement and is very evasive for a fighter at his weight. Yvel of course has good Kickboxing, so it will be a stand up war untill someone gets caught.
I can’t tell you how happy I am with mma pound for pound. If everyone could be as customer focused as you, life would be so much easier. I would also like to say thank you to all your staff.
