How to manually create a Restore Point in Windows 7?

To manually create a Restore Point in Windows 7 follow these simple steps:

1) Open Start menu and click the Control Panel link

2) In the Control Panel window double click the Backup and Restore Center icon


3) Now click on Create a restoring point or change settings link given in the left pane.



4) In the System Properties window select the disk partition for which you want to create a restore point and click the Create button as highlighted below


5) You will then be asked to give the name of the restore point. Type the name of the restore point and click the Create button



6) You will notice a progress bar displaying the message Creating a restore point…


7) You will then be notified that the restored point was created successfully


8) Click OK button in the System Properties window and close Backup and Restore Center
