Error! No Boot Device Found

Computers become stubborn machines sometimes even though they are of such great help to the society. Has your computer ever repotted to you an error such as ‘No boot device found’ or ‘Operating System not found’ when trying to boot it and then it stops there! It might give you a bad headache especially when you have some important task to perform or you want to access some vital information from your storage device.

Such problems occur when the system genuinely has not been installed with a functional operating system. But in some instances, your hard disk would have fallen prey to malfunction. Just to be sure that it is your storage device that would be failing, here are some diagnosis that you can apply to rescue your system.

Try to start up the computer in the safe mode to check what the problem could be. This is done by booting the computer and before the error message is displayed, strike and hold the control key for some time until you will be displayed with some options by which you will select ‘start windows in safe mode.If your system still doesn’t show signs of “waking up” then get a computer specialist to try and repair the operating systems using an original copy of the operating system installation CD. This should be done by an expert hence you might end up loosing all your files and folders that contain important information.
