Service Pack 1 for Vista Improves File Copying Performance

If you are a Windows Vista user and still contemplating on applying SP1, here's one good reason to do so.

The most common complaint for Windows Vista when it first hit the market last year was it's slow file copying performance. Installing or applying SP1 to your system will dramatically improve the time it takes to copy large file. For instance, a test done by PCWorld shows that copying 1.9 GB of files shows 9% improvement after applying Service Pack 1. That's a notable increase in performance if you ask me.

SP1 will be officially available next month for download in Microsoft website, but if you are resourceful enough, i'm sure you already know where to find the RTM version that was leaked few days ago.
