Introducing the Alienware M17X Gamers Laptop

Out of three top gaming laptops tested by the British channel 5 program ‘The gadget Show’ the Alienware M17x came out tops. The recent TV program shown in May 2011 basically presented the Alienware laptop and two other ‘contenders’ the Rock Xtreme 685 and the MSI GT 680, and pitted them against each other with the help of some Gaming laptop experts.
The scoring was this:

• 4 Stars to the Alienware M17x laptop
• 3 Stars to the MSI GT 680
• 2 Stars to the Rock Xtreme 688

Perhaps admittedly not the most scientific of tests, it was however quite impressive and it seems that the Alienware M17X lived up to it’s deserved hype as “The most Powerful laptop on the planet”.
The main drawback it seems is not the performance but rather the weight. The Gadget Show comments.

“The Alienware M17x is one of the most powerful laptops on the planet. It features graphics performance that puts most PCs to shame, and you can easily play the latest games on the move. Just don't plan on travelling too far, as it's also one of the bulkiest machines around”.

So if you are in the market for a really powerful laptop to impress your friends and of course enjoy the games it would seem that the Alienware M17Xx is the one to get – as long as your not carrying it too far!
